THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala has reported four new cases of Omicron, taking the state's tally of infections from the Omicron variant of Covid-19 to 5. The wife and mother-in-law of the state's first Omicron patient have been found infected with Omicron. The two had tested positive for Covid earlier.
A Thiruvananthapuram native who returned from the UK and the Ernakulam native who returned from Congo were also found infected with the new variant. Health Minister Veena George said that the health condition of all four patients was satisfactory.
