THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Metroman E Sreedharan will continue to work with the BJP, party state president K Surendran said. Surendran's response came after he visited E Sreedharan's house in Ponnani. After the meeting, K Surendran said that E Sreedharan will stay with the BJP.

"Sreedharan is currently a special invitee to the National Council. His health does not allow him to attend all party functions", Surendran said.

After the meeting, Surendran said that he was only moving away from active politics and that Sreedharan would be with the BJP for the rest of his life.

"He said he won't be there in active politics. He had never been active in politics before. His comments and suggestions are valuable to us. He is giving us his service. He will be with the BJP even if he is busy", Surendran said.

Asked if he was satisfied with the discussion, Sreedharan said there was no such discussion. Sreedharan said there is hope in the BJP.

Surendran added that corrections are being made in the party as per Sreedharan's instructions.

E Sreedharan had said the other day that he is no longer active in politics. He had said that the BJP will not make a foothold in Kerala without changing many things.
