KOLLAM: A worker was killed in a landslide during a construction work at Kannanalloor in Kollam. The deceased has been identified as Cherikkonam native Pradeep. The accident took place at around 10.30 am.

The landslide occurred while the soil was being removed using a bulldozer from a private plot. Two workers were present there when the landslide occurred. Following this, the locals carried out a rescue operation and rescued the two.

Though Pradeep was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved. Another worker, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
