KASARGOD: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said things not suitable for Kerala are seen and that he feels sad and ashamed of the political murders. The Governor said this while speaking to the media in Kasargod when asked to respond on the political killings in Alappuzha. When such crimes happen, there is no use in talking about development. The governor demanded that political reasons should not be the cause of anyone's death and that no one should take law into their own hands.
Two political murders happened in Alappuzha in 24 hours. SDPI state secretary K S Shaan and OBC morcha state secretary Renjith Sreenivasan were those killed. A two-day curfew has been imposed in the district taking into account the chances of violence.
