THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Devaswom Board has announced more concessions for devotees at Sabarimala. The new concessions were announced as part of the Mandala-Makaravilakku festival. It has also decided to allow 60,000 devotees to the temple daily. The Devaswom Department has also decided to allow devotees to perform Neyyabhishekam directly from 7 am to 12 noon.

TDB has also decided to allow pilgrims to travel through the forest path in compliance with the Covid norms. The office of the Devaswom Minister said that a contract was awarded through a new tender to address the shortage of Aravanapayasam.
