KOCHI: Actor Nasser Latheef has lashed out at actor Siddique. He said that he had not deceived AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) by promising that he would hand over a plot that he did not own. Nasser Latheef was responding to the remark made by Siddique in a controversial Facebook post.

"Earlier, I had informed AMMA that I was ready to hand over my 20 cent plot at Ezhupunna to the organisation. However, the organization was not ready to take over the land. I don't know on what basis did Siddique make such a statement. Siddique is trying to insult me. He should withdraw the statement. I will give a complaint to AMMA president Mohanlal regarding the incident and will move legally if no action is taken," Nasser Latheef said.
