ALUVA: The owner of a clothing store was found hanging during the working hours of the store. The deceased has been identified as Kodikuthumala native Sajid (49), owner of Hasnas Textile at Aluva station road.

Sajid was found hanging inside a room on the third floor of the clothing store. It is learnt that the financial crisis forced Sajid to take the drastic step. The financial crisis intensified during the Covid period. Police have found a note which indicated that Sajid committed suicide due to the financial crisis.

It was one of the store employees who found Sajid hanging inside the room. Police have registered a case and are investigating the death.
