KOCHI: The eyes of P T Thomas MLA and KPCC working president, who died here Wednesday, have been donated. He died this morning at 10.45 am while undergoing treatment for cancer at the Velloor Hospital.

He was undergoing treatment for the past one month. Thomas, who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai, was shifted to Velloor Christian Medical College after his condition worsened. His body will be taken straight to his native place Idukki. From there, it will be brought to Kochi tomorrow morning and kept at Ernakulam DCC office and Town Hall for the public to pay homage. Then the body will be kept at Thrikkakkara constituency for the people to pay tributes.

His last wish said that his body should be cremated, not to place wreaths and during last rites the Malayalam film song ‘Chandrakalabham’ should be played. His last wish was written on November 22. He will be cremated at the Ravipuram Crematorium tomorrow evening at 4.30 pm.
