THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Another goonda attack in Pothencode. Shah of Venjaramoodu and his 17-year-old daughter were attacked at Pothencode last night at 8.30 pm.

The goons, who were returning after having food from a hotel, stopped their vehicle and attacked the father and daughter. The accused slapped the girl and tried to misbehave with her. They caught hold of her hair. Shah said the goons attacked them for blocking their car and had lodged a complaint with the police yesterday itself. The police have started an investigation into the incident.

The four-member team led by Faizal attacked the two. Faizal, is an accused in several cases including stealing 100 sovereigns of gold after throwing chilli powder at the owner of a jewellery shop in Pallipuram.
