THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 2514 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 2340 persons developed the disease through contact, including 138 cases without an identified source of infection. 18 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 18 health workers contracted the disease on Thursday.

3427 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 26,605 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 54 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 45,861.

Thiruvananthapuram 458, Ernakulam 369, Kozhikode 305, Kottayam 258, Thrissur 192, Kannur 166, Kollam 145, Pathanamthitta 135, Alappuzha 117, Malappuram 111, Wayanad 78, Palakkad 66, Idukki 65 and Kasaragod 49.
