ALAPPUZHA: Two more persons are in custody in the murder case of SDPI state secretary KS Shan. The arrested are residents of Thrissur and Aluva. With this, the number of those arrested in the murder case has increased to five. They were arrested during an investigation into those who helped the killer group escape.

Police had arrested one person the previous day. Akhil, a native of Cherthala, was arrested last day. Akhil will be produced in court today.

It has been days since the double murder, but the police haven't caught the killer yet. No significant arrests were made on the sixth day after the assassination of state office bearers of both parties. In both cases, the majority of those arrested were those who set up the vehicle for the killers.
