THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 2605 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 2427 persons developed the disease through contact, including 138 cases without an identified source of infection. 13 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 27 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

3281 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 25,586 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 31 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 46,203.

Thiruvananthapuram 534, Ernakulam 496, Kozhikode 252, Kottayam 202, Thrissur 187, Kollam 178, Kannur 164, Pathanamthitta 149, Malappuram 106, Alappuzha 101, Idukki 71, Palakkad 62, Wayanad 57 and Kasaragod 46.
