KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has directed that the process of recovering excess land in possession of PV Anvar MLA should be completed soon. The court gave this direction while rejecting the affidavit filed by the Thamarassery Land Board chairman seeking more time in recovering the excess land in possession of PV Anvar MLA and his family.

Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan issued an interim order directing that the proceedings should be completed before the case is considered again on January 4. Earlier, the court had directed the state government to file a report on the status of proceedings initiated to recover the excess land in possession of Anvar and his family.
