KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that the Opposition is obstructing the development of the state and will not back down from the K-Rail project because of them. The Chief Minister was inaugurating the CPM conference at Parapram.
"They say no now. If not now, then when? Gail and the National Highway were implemented. Don't try to tie down a state. Do not cause the curse of the coming generation. Even the epidemic had to succumb to our willpower. What is the basis of the opposition to the K Rail project? Will not withdraw from the K-Rail project because there is opposition, the CM said.
"The CM criticized the SDPI and the RSS. Religious minorities in the country have lost security. People are attacked by looking at their food and clothing. The extremists in the minority think that they are enough to face the Sangh Parivar. The SDPI thinks they will do something. SDPI and RSS are creating suitable scenarios for one another. There is a move going on to mislead people in a big way. The public should be very careful about Omicron. Those who have not been vaccinated should take it immediately. Local parties need to be encouraged to confront the BJP. The Communist Party will be there to join them. All these matters will be discussed and decided at the party congress to be held in Kannur", the CM said.
