KASARAGOD: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has dismissed the protests against the K-Rail project. "If the state needs a project, the government will implement it. The government will not approve if some arrogantly say no to the project. However, the legitimate objections of the people will be accepted", the CM said.

Pinarayi Vijayan also asked when the K Rail project will be implemented if not today. He was inaugurating the CPM district committee office in Kasargod.

The CM also said that attacks on minorities are strong across the country under the leadership of the RSS. "There is leadership that encourages these attacks. It is an attempt to strengthen the party by spreading communalism. This communalism could not be countered by communalism", he added.
