KOLLAM: Kerala Congress (B) is not a party of the family and no one in his family is in the party, said K B Ganesh Kumar MLA. He responded as a reply given to his sister Usha Mohandas. Ganesh's remarks came after the split of the Kerala Congress B and the appointment of Usha Mohandas as the new faction chief.

The MLA said that he was elected chairman of the party by the executive committee and legally there is only one Kerala Congress (B).

Kerala Congress (B) is not a party of the family. He said that he came into politics when his father was in it. For the past 23 years has been working among the people. The party has its own decision and will be taken together. I don’t think the party will wane off after him. Ganesh Kumar said that he called everyone together to mould people to work with him.
