THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the backdrop of the Covid vaccination for 15-18 year olds starting tomorrow, a pink board will be set up at the children's counter and a blue board will be set up for adults at the vaccination centres. The board will also be placed at the entrance and registration area.

Vaccination of children will be held at General, District, Taluk and CHC from tomorrow till 10 this month including Sundays and except on Wednesdays. Children will be vaccinated every week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at primary health centres and family health centres.

Each educational institution should collect the number of vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons and submit it to the District Education Officer at regular intervals. A copy will also be handed over to the RCH Officer of the Department of Health. Follow-up action will depend on this.

Registration at the vaccination center

Children who are unable to register on their own or through the school can register at the vaccination centres and receive the vaccine.

NEW DELHI: The nation is ready for the vaccination of children by storing enough doses of vaccine making pediatricians available, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.


People born in 2007 are eligible for the vaccine. Registration for the vaccine of teenagers has begun. Those who have registered can take the jab from tomorrow. Registration can be done through schools for children without online facilities. There are about 10 lakh people in this category.

Facility for adults

Vaccination centres for persons above 18 years of age are available at general, district, taluk and CHC every day except Wednesday and Sunday. Facilities will be available at all primary health centres and family health centres on Mondays and Thursdays.
