AMRITSAR: As many as 150 passengers of a flight that arrived in Amritsar from Italy have tested positive for COVID. There were 290 passengers on the flight. The passengers were tested on arrival as Italy was one of the high-risk countries for Omicron. All those who tested positive for COVID will be shifted to isolation wards at various hospitals in the city.

125 passengers of a chartered flight that reached Amritsar from Milan had tested positive for COVID on Thursday. The flight was reportedly operated by EuroAtlantic Airways, a Portuguese company.
