THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 54,537 COVID-19 cases on Friday. Among these, 50,295 persons developed the disease through contact, including 3485 cases without an identified source of infection. 227 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 530 health workers contracted the disease on Friday.

30,225 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,33,447 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 13 deaths due to the virus on Friday with the toll rising to 52,786.

Ernakulam 10,571, Thiruvananthapuram 6735, Thrissur 6082, Kozhikode 4935, Kottayam 4182, Kollam 4138, Palakkad 3248, Malappuram 3003, Idukki 2485, Alappuzha 2323, Kannur 2314, Pathanamthitta 2021, Wayanad 1379, Kasaragod 1121.
