NEW DELHI: The issues of agreement and disagreement between Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the Mullaperiyar petitions will be informed to the Supreme Court. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting on issues to be considered by the Supreme Court.
The two states agreed on four issues, including the rule curve and the gate operation. At the same time, it was decided to inform the special court about the conflicting issues, including safety. Lawyers and concerned officials from Kerala and Tamil Nadu also attended the meeting. But the central representative did not attend the meeting. The final hearing is scheduled to begin in the second week of February.
