KOTTAYAM: University Assistant CJ Elsy was suspended on pending MG University investigation. Earlier, a vigilance team had arrested CJ Elsy, Arpookara native, an examination assistant, in a bribery case.

She demanded a bribe of Rs 1.5 lakh from a student hailing from Pathanamthitta. The girl, an MBA student paid Rs 1.5 lakh and later lodged a complaint with Vigilance SP VG Vinod Kumar after Elsy demanded an additional Rs 30,000.
