THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health department has taken action against the deputy superintendent of the medical college. The action is against Dr S S Santhosh. He has been removed from the post of deputy superintendent of the emergency department.

Santhosh was presently the head of Covid mission team. Dr Mohan Roy who is the RMO has been given the additional charge of deputy superintendent. The health department has not clarified the reason for the action.
