THRISSUR: Big cannabis hunt in Thrissur. Three people were arrested with 460 kilograms of cannabis on the Kodakara national highway. The arrested has been identified as Kodungallur native Lulu (32), Wadakkanchery native Shahin (33) and Ponnani native Salim (37).

The cannabis was hidden amidst paper bundles, in a lorry. The police have informed that the seized cannabis has a market value of around five crores. The cannabis was brought from Andhra. Shahin is an accused in another case for stealing money from a vegetable vendor, three years ago.
