KOCHI: The phones of the accused in the case conspired to harm the investigating officers in the actress attack case, have been submitted to the high court. Six phones used by Dileep, his brother Anoop and brother-in-law T N Suraj, were brought to the high court. It will be handed over to the registrar soon.
Two phones of Dileep sent to Mumbai for forensic examination were brought to the city last night. Six phones including these have been submitted in the high court. The phone stated to be crucial by the crime branch will not be produced.
The investigators had informed the court that Dileep had four phones and that it contained crucial information. However, the respondent argued that he did not know of such a thing.
The probe team has also collected the call records of Dileep using the phone which he allegedly hid. They have received its International Mobile Equipment Identity Number (IMEI). It is also reported that they found out from where the phone was bought. Meantime, the court will also consider the anticipatory bail pleas of the accused, including Dileep, today.
