LONDON: Manchester United’s English star Mason Greenwood was suspended by the premier league club following his girlfriend’s allegations of physical violence and sexual assault. The police have arrested the 20-year-old star.

Greenwood’s girlfriend, Harriet Robson, had come forward accusing him of domestic abuse and sexual assault, yesterday. She raised her allegations by sharing a video of her bleeding face and pictures of bruises on her official Instagram account. Robson also released an audio clip where the football star can be heard making obscene remarks. Following this, numerous people have come out in harsh criticism of Mason Greenwood. The pictures and video have gone viral in the social media.

Soon after the posts went viral, Manchester United came forward asserting that they are against the violence of any kind. Following this, the United management announced that Mason Greenwood has been expelled until further notice.
