THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major twist to the Vismaya case, the court on Sunday declared that Sadasivan Pillai, father of accused Kiran, has turned hostile. Sadasivan Pillai has testified that Vismaya committed suicide after writing a suicide note. Sadasivan Pillai also told the court that he had handed over the note to the police. With this, the prosecution demanded the court to declare that Sadasivan Pillai had turned hostile. The court accepted this demand. In his earlier statement to the police, Sadasivan Pillai had not mentioned about the suicide note.

Sadasivan Pillai had said that he saw Vismaya lying on the floor when he rushed to her room after hearing a sound.
