KOTTAYAM: A slight improvement was seen in the health condition of Vava Suresh, who is undergoing treatment after being bitten by a snake. Heartbeat and blood pressure are normal. There is a slight improvement in the brain functioning as well. He is currently admitted in the intensive care unit of Kottayam medical college.

Vava Suresh got bitten while trying to capture a cobra into a sack. The incident happened at around 4:30pm, yesterday. He had caught the snake from the house of Kurichy Pattassery Vaniapurackal Jaladharan.

Suresh had forcefully pulled away the snake that was biting him. The snake that fell on to the ground, crawled into a bed of rocks, but was caught again and put into a sack. On feeling discomfort, Suresh himself asked to be hospitalized.

He had lost consciousness on the way to the Kottayam medical college hence, was rushed to the nearest hospital and was given anti-venom. As his heartbeats went down and brain functioning became worrying, he was shifted to Kottayam medical college.
