KOTTAYAM: Minister V N Vasavan said Vava Suresh is undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College for snake bite, is out of danger. He started moving his limbs and is responding to calls, the minister said.

This is the most dangerous bite he had ever received. Kottayam Medical College offers all the treatments available to modern medicine today. His health condition gives us hope and all efforts are being taken to save his life, said the minister.

The Kottayam Medical College has issued a medical bulletin. It says, ‘Vava Suresh undergoing treatment at medical critical care at Kottayam Medical College Hospital, is presently on ventilator. However, after eighteen hours, there is progress in his health condition. His heart beat and blood pressure are normal. He has started responding to medicines.’
