KOTTAYAM: The brain functioning of Vava Suresh undergoing treatment after a snake bite, is returning to normalcy. The doctors attending on him said that he is returning to life. The doctors hope to remove him from the ventilator as soon as his health improves. He is being given liquid food. Even though he is not opening his eyes, he is responding to the questions. Vava’s sister Lali, brother Sathyadevan and friends are in the hospital.
Suresh was bitten by the cobra on the thigh while he was trying to transfer the snake he caught into a sack on Monday at 4.45 pm. The seven feet long snake was caught from a house in Kurichi near Kottayam. He was in a serious condition when taken to the hospital and was admitted in the intensive care unit. The doctors had stated that they need 48 hours to understand how the snake venom works in his body. Till then he will be in ventilator support.
