KOCHI: The Kerala High Court will consider today the anticipatory bail pleas of the accused in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress. The pleas of Dileep, brother Anoop, brother-in-law T N Suraj, relative Appu alias Krishna Prasad, friend Baiju Chengamanad and hotelier and native of Aluva Sarath will be considered by a bench led by Justice P Gopinath.
The crime branch is firm on their demand of wanting Dileep in custody. The prosecution will inform the court that the accused have not produced all the phones. A decision will also be taken today on examining the six phones handed over. The crime branch had yesterday demanded the magistrate court to send Dileep's phones directly to the Cyber Forensic Lab in Thiruvananthapuram.
A case was registered against them following the revelation of director Balachandra Kumar that Dileep and others had conspired to finish off the investigating officers. The accused had approached the high court on January 10 seeking anticipatory bail in the case. The accused alleged that the case was fabricated and had cooperated with the investigation.
