KOCHI: The court has ordered the removal of all illegal fittings from the vehicle, in the controversial E Bull Jet case, in order avoid the permanent cancellation of its registration. The additional chief judicial magistrate court has ordered to remove all the fittings and modifications in the presence of motor vehicle officials and return it to the police station.
The fittings should be removed at the owner’s own expense. A bond equal to Rs 12 lakh should be submitted. The court has also prohibited the use of the vehicle for any other purpose, including driving it on the road.
The verdict comes in response to the plea filed by owner Ebin Varghese of Kiliyanthara Nechiyattu house, with the motor vehicle department officials in opposition.
