KOTTAYAM: A woman was arrested for secretly mixing drugs in food to kill her husband. Asha Suresh, a native of Murukkumpuzha in Thiruvananthapuram, residing at Sathimandiram in Meenachil in Pala, was arrested by the police.
The woman attempted to kill her husband Suresh (38), a native of Chirayinkeezhu and now a resident of Pala. The man's suspicion brought out the betrayal of the woman to light.
Suresh, who used to do the distribution for an ice cream company, bought a house in Pala in 2012 and moved there. Within a few days, the wife began to quarrel over even minor problems. In the meanwhile, Suresh, who was always feeling tired, saw a doctor and took medicine for a long time thinking that his sugar was low. But the situation did not change. Meanwhile, in September 2021, Suresh stayed away from home for 20 days and ate outside. When he stopped having any health problems, Suresh became suspicious of his wife's actions.
Suresh asked his wife's friend to ask Asha whether she is giving any medicine to him. Asha replied to her that she used to mix drugs in food and give it to her husband since 2015. She also gave some pics of the drugs. The police raided the house and arrested Asha following a complaint lodged by Suresh, including these pictures and CCTV footage.
