KATTAPPANA: A Grade SI of the Kattappana Traffic Police Unit was found hanging at the premises of the old police quarters in Vandanmedu. The deceased has been identified as KS James (52), a native of Rajakkandam. James was found hanging from a tree in the premises of the old Quarters around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The reason behind the suicide is not clear. He lived with his family in Vandanmedu. The body has been shifted to Idukki Medical College for postmortem. James is survived by wife Suja, children Sarun and Joel.
