WAYANAD: Pallan Shaiju, who challenged the police has been arrested. The Kottakkal police arrested him from a resort in Wayanad. He had challenged the police via social media.

Shaiju is accused in several murder and highway robbery cases. He was expelled from Thrissur after Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA) was imposed on him. Soon after this he shared the video on social media challenging the police.

‘I am in the sea now as I cannot stay in my hometown…' this is how Shaiju challenged the police. The search for him was intensified after a two-minute video went viral on social media.

Shaiju is a native of Kodakara in Thrissur. The 43-year-old was deported by the Thrissur Rural Police under KAAPA. He was asked not to enter his district for a year.
