KOCHI: Director Balachandra Kumar reacted soon after the high court granted anticipatory bail for Dileep in a case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress. He said that he is neither sad nor happy and that the accused who is standing out would affect the probe.

Kumar said the accused benefited after delaying the procedures for anticipatory bail. The precedent is to welcome the judgment of the court and doing so. He said further proceedings will be taken as per the instructions of the investigating officers. The director had alleged that he was a witness to the conspiracy of Dileep and others to kill the investigating officers.

Justice P Gopinath granted anticipatory bail to Dileep and his co-accused. Bail was granted on strict conditions and the court has asked them to produce their passports in court and to furnish two sureties of Rs one lakh each. The prosecution will approach the Supreme Court against the verdict.
