THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will question Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case, tomorrow. The ED has sent a notice asking her to appear for the interrogation. The interrogation is based on her revelations on TV channels.

The investigation team's move is to produce Swapna's statement in court. The investigators will ask her about the release of a conversation recorded while in custody. The audio clip says the officials forced her to mention the name of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. In the interview to channels, Swapna had alleged that M Sivasankar, former principal secretary to the chief minister, was behind the audio clip that surfaced.

Swapna had revealed that Sivsankar knew about the smuggling of gold through the diplomatic channel. Swapna levelled serious allegations against Sivasankar soon after his autobiography ‘Aswathamavu Verum Oru Aana’, (Ashwathamavu is just an elephant), was released.
