PALAKKAD: Babu thanked the soldiers who rescued him after getting trapped in the cleft of Malampuzha. The video of Babu kissing the soldiers saying ‘Very thanks Indian Army, Indian Army Ki Jai, Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, has surfaced. Officials Deepak and Bala made the rescue mission a success.

Kerala witnessed an unparalleled rescue mission. Babu was rescued after forty-six hours. He has no significant health problems. An Army spokesman said he has some minor injuries in his leg.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and opposition leader V D Satheesan thanked the rescuers. Minister K Rajan said that it was a proud moment to be able to successfully complete the Malampuzha rescue mission.
