AHMEDABAD: West Indies started off on the wrong foot in batting in the second ODI against India. Chasing a target of 238 against India, the West Indies' score was 138 runs for six in 36 overs. Shamarh Brooks (44) was the highest score till then. After Brooks, opener Shay Hopes scored 27 runs.

In the first ODI, Yusvendra Chahal's spin gave the West Indies the lead, while in the second ODI, the Caribbean players couldn't score well due to Prasid Krishna's pace. Prasid took three wickets while Shardul Thakur, Yusvendra Chahal and Deepak Hooda took one wicket each. With four wickets in hand, the West Indies need 100 off 84 balls to win.
