PALAKKAD: The army rescued 23-year-old Babu, who got trapped in a steep rocky hill at Malampuzha, Wednesday morning at 10 am. He was trapped there for 46 hours with no food or water. Still, he did not give up and waited patiently for the rescuers.
After an adventurous rescue operation, the army brought Babu back safely. He thanked and kissed some of the soldiers for rescuing him. The video of this was released yesterday.
Lt Col Hemant Raj revealed a question Babu asked after he was rescued. Raj said Babu’s question was, 'Can you take me in the army?' The rescue operation was led by Hemant Raj.
Hemant Raj told a private channel that no matter how difficult the situation is, the energy we get when chanting ‘Indian Army Ki Jai’ is the most important for us, and our service is for everyone.
