Under the influence of the eastern wave from the Bay of Bengal, more humid clouds are moving towards Kerala. The rainfall is under its influence. Heavy rains lashed Thiruvananthapuram yesterday. The southern districts will receive light rain in the evening today. The hilly areas of the region will receive the highest rainfall. There is a possibility of thunder in some places. Moderate rains are also expected in North Kerala next week. But experts say temperatures in the state will not change significantly. The winds along the Kerala coast have increased slightly but fishing has not been hampered.
