THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All classes will be from morning to evening from February 21, said Education Minister V Sivankutty. Schools will reopen tomorrow. Classes till ninth standard will be till noon and from February 21 onwards, all classes will function till evening, the minister said.

The minister while addressing the press meet, said all Saturdays will be a working day in February and March, except national holidays. Pre-primary classes will begin tomorrow and will be only till noon. Only half of the children are allowed. Annual exams will be conducted for classes from one to nine. The minister said classes in Victers would be in the afternoon.

Classes 10,11 and 12 will continue till February 19 as it is now. The minister informed that classes from first to 12th will be conducted as usual from February 21. The model exams for SSLC and Plus Two will start on March 16. The minister directed the teachers to submit a report on the lessons completed in Class X and Plus Two.
