KOCHI: In Aluva, a car driven by minor went out of control and crashed into a tea shop near the Muttam National Highway. The accident happened around 8 am. 62 year old Bakkar ,a resident of Kalamassery Goodshed who was drinking tea nearby, died on the spot. Three people were injured in the accident.

A case of involuntary manslaughter has been registered against the student who was driving the car and the owner of the car, Abdul Hakeem. The five minors in the car were taken into police custody and their parents have been called to the station. Police are investigating where they were going.
