PALAKKAD: A friend testified that a youth was killed and buried at Chenakathur in Ottapalam. The dead has been identified as Ashiq (24). His friend Muhammad Firoz of East Ottapalam testified before the police.

He told police about his friend’s murder when questioned in another case. The police have left for Ottapalam with the accused. The Pattambi police reached the spot and started examining. Forensic and finger print experts have also reached the spot. The murder was committed two months ago. Ashiq is an accused in several cases.
