KOZHIKODE: Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran and Balussery MLA KM Sachin Dev are getting married. They have known each other since their time in Balasangham. The marriage will take place after a month.

Sachin's father KM Nandakumar said that although a date has not been announced, the two families have agreed on the marriage. Sachin is the youngest MLA in Kerala Assembly while Arya is the youngest mayor in the country.

Sachin Dev, who is also the SFI All India Joint Secretary, hails from Nellikode in Kozhikode. When he was the SFI state secretary, he contested and won the last assembly elections from Balussery. Sachin holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Government Arts College, Kozhikode and a Law Degree from Kozhikode Law College.

Arya Rajendran became the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram at the age of 21 while being a student of All Saints College in Thiruvananthapuram.
