THRIKKAKKARA: The registers containing the details and amount of contributions to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund have gone missing. An inspection by the finance department last day found that the documents are missing. The documents missing from the Ernakulam Collectorate contained information on crores of rupees received during the floods of 2018. The Crime Branch had earlier found that Vishnu Prasad, a distress relief section clerk in the Collectorate, had embezzled Rs 1,31,00,000 from the flood fund. The information regarding missing documents surfaced during the trial of the case in the Perumbavoor Vigilance Court.
