MUMBAI: The annual income of a Mumbai constable has given shock waves to his superior officials. A Mumbai police constable Jitendra Shinde’s annual income is Rs 1.5 crore. Most of it comes from the account of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The police officers who went to investigate the incident were shocked again as a security agency in Shinde’s wife’s name was in charge of Amitabh Bachchan’s security from 2015 till 2021. The money for the security services came into Shinde’s account instead of his wife’s account. This has led to all the problems.

Upon learning of the incident, Shinde was suspended by his superiors. As the security services is under his wife’s name, no action can be taken against her. There is no amount of unaccounted money in his wife’s account. Hence, the current action has been taken against Shinde as he visited Dubai and Singapore four times without the permission of his superiors and recently bought an acre of land and failed to report in a timely manner.
