NEW DELHI: In the view of growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, India tries to bring citizens from Ukraine. The government plans to increase the number of flights between the two countries. The Central Aviation Department is having discussions with the airline companies. The Central Government has stated that the Indian Embassy in Kyiv will function as usual and a 24-hour control room will be set up at the Embassy for Indians.

The Embassy has released a pamphlet containing instructions for Indians in Ukraine. It includes an emergency telephone number and an email ID for contact.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russia pulls back troops from Ukraine and shared a video of tanks, weapons and other warships being returned by train. However, this announcement has not been taken seriously by experts of various countries, including the United States, who have thoroughly studied the situation.

Experts who have monitored public domain information, including satellite images and ground video information, are recording every move of the Russian military. In the opinion of one such expert, Konrad Musaika, Russia's announcement is acceptable, but it means that Russia will deploy troops along the border of Ukraine, as it has done in the past. He asserted that the news about the attack can only be confirmed after further observation.
