MOSCOW: The German ruler has been in talks with Russia to resolve issues with Ukraine. More than the outcome of the discussion, many trolls have been circulating on social media about the table around which Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sat.The two world leaders talked as they sat on either side of a table about six meters (20 feet) long. The two discussed the Ukraine issue. Days ago, Putin held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron at the same table.

There are some propaganda that this was done to ensure that there is enough distance between the two leaders as per the Covid protocol. But Olaf, the Italian company that built the table, denied the allegations. The company said it has been making such tables for 25 years.

It is said that the discussion was held as Macron refused to do Covid test in Russia. Macron feared that Russia could collect his DNA samples were cited as the reason. The actual reason behind this discussion is unknown.
