THRISSUR: A 26-year-old woman and her male friend were found dead in a hotel room. The two identified as Rijo (26) of Olarikkara in Thrissur and Sangeetha (26) of Karyattukkara were found hanging. The two checked into the hotel yesterday afternoon.

Sangeetha’s husband Sunil had lodged a missing complaint with the police. On examining her phone number, it was understood that she was near the KSRTC bus stand in Thrissur.

Rijo and Sangeetha were found hanging in a search conducted by the police. It is heard that the two were very close. Sunil is running a catering firm and Rijo was a staff here. Sangeetha and Sunil have three children. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
