KOCHI: Actress Parvathy arrived to pray the Makam Thozhal at the Chottanikkara Devi Temple. Parvathy has said that she was able to reach by chance and was very happy to offer her prayers.

"'I reached here by chance and I'm very happy. I usually visit temple during Attukal Pongala. It didn't happen for the last two years due to Covid. Anyway I came here and was able to offer my prayer to the goddess. Hopefully next year everything will be back to normal.", said the actress.

South Indian superstar Nayanthara also arrived for Makam Thozhal. She came along with her beau Vignesh Sivan. The temple was very crowded. Nayanthara was surrounded by the media but did not respond.

Darshan was for 700 at a time following Covid norms.

Many from the social and cultural fields arrived to pray Makam thozhal today. The sanctum sanctorum opened for Makam thozhal at 2 pm. Darshan will be till 10 pm.
